Practical Information > Showers & Toilets
During the 1960‘s, a unique sewerage system was built on the Rudolf Steiner Seminar. All waste water is being cleaned through a series of cleansing ponds and flow forms that run through the area. This system is quite cutting edge, even today, but it is important to understand that everything that is being put in the sewage system eventually runs out into the Ytterjärna Fjörd. As a result, all soaps and shampoos used during the conference must be biodegradable. If needed, these can be acquired at the Nibble shop, which is located on the Seminar grounds.

"The Fjörd is part of the natural beauty of Ytterjärna, and the waters are often used for swimming. The use of non-biodegradable soaps and shampoos damages the ecological balance of the area, as well as the cleaning system itself."
If you want to learn more about Flow Forms and the Ytterjärna cleaning system, it is possible to do so by attending the Flow Forms-workshop at 360∘
